With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Johnson (Atlantic Mine, Michigan), who passed away on October 24, 2015 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Matero and Amanda Matero (Kemppainen); and his siblings, Eino, Oscar, Walfred, Mary, Ida and LuLu.

He is survived by: his daughter Betty Welles; and his wife Ann Ruppe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
