With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert LaVerne Brooks of Atlanta, Michigan, who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. Brooks and Velma B. Brooks (Valentine); and his sister Dixie L. Fisk. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Brooks (Kamen) of Atlanta; his children, Robert Brooks (Robin) of Casnovia, Gloria Suhr (Kris) of Greenville, Laura Binge (Ross) of Atlanta and Ronald Brooks (Shannon) of Bailey; and his grandchildren, Amber, Ena, Nathan, Caleb, Kelda, Clara, Michael, Joshua, Nicholas, Johnny, Lindsae, Bryce, Valerie, Kalyn and Bradley. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
