He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Marlatt and Irene Marlatt (Wilson); his former wife Thelma Murl Marlatt; and his brothers, Lawrence and Rodney Marlatt.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Marlatt of Atlanta; his sons, Dave Marlatt (Lisa) of Atlanta and Rob Lucal of Wolverine; and his brothers, Donald Marlatt (Maryann) of Atlanta, Ronald Marlatt of Battle Creek and Harvey Marlatt (Connie) of Atlanta. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
