With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harvey Wilson Marlatt of Atlanta, Michigan, born in Alpena, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Marlatt and Irene Marlatt (Wilson); and his brothers, Raymond, Lawrence and Rodney Marlatt.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Marlatt of Atlanta; his children, Ryan Marlatt (Kim) of Atlanta and Meegan Feil of Traverse City; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jessalyn, Preston, Jayden, Sadie, Greyson and Alexandra; his great grandchild Hutch; and his brothers, Donald Marlatt (Maryann) of Atlanta and Ronald Marlatt of Battle Creek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Harvey to Hospice of Michigan.

“What a shock. I hadn't seen Harvey since our 30th class reunion. I considered him a dear friend and hope to see him again. Harvey enriched my life and I really admired his athletic abilities which were substantial. As high schoolers I remember our plans to float the Thunder Bay River - can't remember the starting point but it was to be a couple day trip. It was fun to plan but we didn't pull it off, God bless my friend and may he enjoy his heavenly rewards. Best to his family Mack Mack”
