She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Silvey and Mildred Silvey. She is survived by: her husband Marc Ptak; and her siblings, Sharon Wiers (Larry) and Donald Silvey.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
