It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Allen Karsten (Athens, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on August 14, 2018, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harold Karsten; and his siblings, Albert Mills and Denise Simon. He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Karsten of Grand Rapids; his children, Michael Walker of Battle Creek, Kimberly Hubek (Rudy) of Louisiana, Teresa Barnebee (Mike) of Burlington, Melissa Karsten of Kentucky and Michelle Karsten of New Jersey; his grandchild Lexie; and his siblings, Leonard Mills and Elaine Knaak (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
