Richard Allen Moore Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Moore of Ashley, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chauncey Moore and Gladys Moore (Burtis); his wife Virginia Sylvia Holmes; his grandsons, Michael Whitaker and Brent Albring; his brothers, Robert and Donald Moore; and his siblings-in-law, Gordon Bailey and Noni Moore.

He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Parcher (Greg) of Owosso, MI, Richard L. Moore (Jennifer) of Ashley, MI, Jennifer Surdock, Jr. (Robert) of Elsie, MI, Ricky Moore (Melissa) of Ashley, MI and Christina Murdock (David) of Brant, MI.; his grandchildren, Margaret (Danny), Melissa, Gregory (Nichole), Jesse, Kari (Richard), Robert (Kylie), Debra (Jamie), Katie (Austin), Alysha (William), Randy (Shy-Ann), Shelly, Kimberly, Nicholas and Noah; his siblings, David Moore and Betty Bailey; and his sister-in-law Mary Moore. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
