He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Moreland and Jessie Moreland (Virden); his wives, Marilyn Moreland, Betty Moreland and Connie Moreland; his son David Polley; his son-in-law Ken Rogers; his grandchildren, Jason Polley, Randy Polley, Jennifer Polley, Jeffery Moreland, Charity Moreland and Jeremy Moreland; his siblings, Curtis Moreland, Collette Snyder and Betty Ball; and his brother-in-law Melvin Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Gene Polley (Shirley), Jennilynn Rogers, Ken Moreland (Jacqueline), George Polley (Sheri), Elaine Leigh, Bryan Polley (Dawn), June Davis, Bobby Polley, Barbie Finch (David), Mike Moreland, Harold Moreland, Jr. (Jodie), Roger Crittenden (Nikki), Chrissy Davis and Tonya Hoffman (David); and his siblings, Cheryl Allen, Gordon and Ivan Moreland. He is also survived by 62 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
