He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Raymond and Esther Loretta Hoffer (Evans); his wife Donna Eckley; his siblings, Brenda Netzley (Denis), Craig Hoffer (Sue Gavenda) and Connie Thrush; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Heikkila (Rod), Betsy Fidler (Andrew), Craig Hoffer, Luke Thrush (Nikki), Jake Thrush (Annie), Seana Brown (Tony) and Travis Netzley (Samantha); and his stepdaughters, Marlene Szarka (Bruce) and Nancy Binkowski (David). He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Ithaca American Legion Post #334, Alma VFW Post #1454, or Living Hope Church.
