Stephen J. Brady Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen J. Brady of Arnold, Michigan, born in Marquette, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brady and Donna Brady (Shorkey). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Brady of Arnold; his children, Lisa Brugman (Don "Doc") of Negaunee, Scott Brady of Marquette, Mike Brady (Kate) of Marquette and Kevin Brady (Eilee) of Escanaba; his siblings, Terry Brady (Carol) of Big Bay and Laura Moore (Jack) of Florida; his brother-in-law James John Rhodes; and his former wife Sandy Retaskie of Marquette. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gwinn VFW 5670 (54 N Mitchell St, Gwinn, MI 49841). The military honors was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the American Legion Post 349 of Little Lake (1835 M-35, Little Lake, MI 49833).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Stephen's name to the Wells Township School, 38211 CO RD 426, Arnold, MI 49819.
