He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Dobberowsky and Selma Dobberowsky; his spouse Shirley Nieman; his children, Scott Dobberowsky and Sheryl Dobberowsky; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Neiman (Mary Ann), Ellen Work (late Robert), Joan Allen, Betty Jondron (John) and Margaret Fuller (late Carl). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Trinity Lutheran Richmond, Memphis American Legion, Armada Lions Club or Fraternal Order of Eagles.
