He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hensley; his children, Daniel Otto Jacob, II (Carol Ann), James Raymond Dodson, Jr. and Melissa Ann Rutkowski (Gordie); and his grandchildren, Lorelei and Sheridan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
