It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann (Deadman) Shafer (Armada, Michigan), born in Mangum, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 17, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Deadman and Stella Deadman; her husband William Shafer; and her parents-in-law, Mathias and Gertrude Shafer.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Shafer (Renee), Susan Shafer and Sarah Shafer; her grandchildren, Douglas Shafer, Dallas Shafer (Kendall Kroll), Nicholas Shafer and Mitchell Shafer; her sisters, Dana Shaw (late Dave), Barb McDaniel and Nell Devers (late Carl); her brother-in-law Patrick Shafer (late Diane); and her close friend Genevieve Jacob Berger. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
