She was predeceased by: her parents, August VanDalen and Cecelia VanDalen (Messing); her siblings, Martha Walters, Paula VanDalen and Daniel VanDalen; her parents-in-law, Norman and Ileen Doerr (Brown); her stepfather-in-law Paul Wallace; and her siblings-in-law, Normalena Doerr and Donald Doerr.
She is survived by: her husband Bill (Bill); her children, Michael Doerr (Jessica) of Verona, Norman Doerr of Ubly, Paul Doerr (Donna) of Orangevale, California and Cecelia Pratt (Leland) of Bad Axe; her grandchildren, Tina Peyerk (Ben) of Juneau, Scott Graichen (Lisa) of Port Austin, David Doerr of Washington, D. C, Emily, Kevin, Eric, Phillip, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Henry, Caleb, Micah of Verona, Joey, Kaylee Hill of California and Megan Bishop (Mike) of Hart; her great grandchildren, Cooper Peyerk and Jonathan Graichen; her brothers, Joe VanDalen (Margaret) of Palms and Bill VanDalen (Katie) of Palms; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Doerr of Peck, Lawrence Doerr (Lorraine) of Sandusky and Larry Walters of Newaygo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family which will be given to the St. Joseph Church maintenance fund.
