It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Mae Smith of Arcadia, Michigan, born in Almont, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sutherland and Dorothy Sutherland (Price); and her father-in-law Ronald Smith. She is survived by: her husband Michael A. Smith; her daughters, Bobbie Jo Manns (Shawn) and Betty Jo Smith; her grandchildren, Alexis Warren and Dustin Manns; her great grandchild Brayden Laakso; her mother-in-law Shirley Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Kay Watkins, Karen Harney (Tom), David Smith and Kathy Paschke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will be scheduling a memorial service this spring, when it's warmer or Covid restrictions have been lifted.
