With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Eckels of Arcadia, Michigan, who passed away on April 2, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan P. Eckels and Nora M. Eckels (Kelsey); and his siblings, Wayne Eckels, Sandra Eckels, Kathryn Berry and Dorothy Maidens.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne P. Bonney; his children, Robert "Greg" Eckels (Gail R.) of Lansing, Gail A. Eckels of Lansing and Terri L. Baughman (Barry) of Mattawan; his grandchildren, Tyler Eckels (Rachel), J. Wesley Eckels (Ze Atkins), Rachelle Eckels, Ellen Banham (Dillon), Selena, Briana and Terra Baughman; and his siblings, Richard Eckels, Margaret Marcum, Susan McPherson, Barbara Rennie and Carol Matthews (Rich).
