He is survived by: his wife Linda Diane Hanes; his nephews, Kevin Matteson of Chicago, Roger Strye Jr. (Elizabeth) of Grosse Pointe and Rory Strye; his great-niece Evangeline of Hazel Park; his nephew Robert Strye (Patricia); his great-nephew Benjamin of Metamora; his niece Katie Campana (Scott) of Chicago; his great-nephew Ford; and his great-nieces, Daisy and Rachel Lopiccolo (Christopher) of Lake Orion.
