He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Christy and Erva Christy (Smith); his daughter Liza Christy (Wayne) of Birch Run; his former wife Mary Christy-Hodges; his son Scott Christy; and his brother Dale Christy.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Christy of Carsonville and Robert Christy of Carsonville; and his sister Geralyn Williams of Centennial, Colorado.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
