She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Morales and José Marrero; her husband Armando; and her siblings, Mercedes, Fioldaliza and Fernando.
She is survived by: her children, Jorge, Evette, Sonia and Alice Joan; and her grandchildren, Zoraida (Zory), Armando III (Mandy), Gilberto (Beto), Javier, Maeti, Veronica, Rene Javier, Alexis and Alice Joanne.
Had the COVID-19 pandemic not forced schools to close, she would have completed 20 years of service.
