He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William T. Groves and Eleanor Groves (Harrington); his wife Elizabeth Swift (Betty); his daughters, Ann Groves of Ann Arbor, MI and Carol Freeman (Michael) of Sahuarita, AZ; and his grandson Jeffrey Freeman of Houston, TX. He was also cherished by several nieces and a nephew.
