He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Thomas and Eleanor Workman Donkin; his siblings, Arthur Donkin, Patricia Oberman and Joan Legg; and his daughter Catherine Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthann Ward Donkin; his children, Thomas C. Donkin (Sara Donkin) and Sarah Toney; his stepchildren, Valerie Alford (Roger Alford) and Eric Laywell (Mary Frances); and his great grandchildren, Zoe and Jack Russell Terrier. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
