We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2022, at the age of 15, Taye Johnson (Ann Arbor, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Michelle Wineland and Kevin; his siblings, Asher and Piper; his grandparents, Dalene, Gene Johnson, John and Karen Dunlap; and his aunts and uncles, Dena (Nick McGuire), Cory (Shaina Johnson), Jackie (Matt Pearson), Steven (Lauren Dunlap) and Michael Dunlap. He is also survived by his mom, ping-pong with his dad, and video games with his friends.

In lieu of flowers, Taye's family requests donations to be made to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in his honor.
