Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sharron Marie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helen Garvey and Paul Garvey; her husband Robert Murphy; and her children, Catherine (Greg O'Reilly), Terese, Jeanne (Tedd Aurelius), Colleen and Thomas (Maria Lopez). She was also cherished by married in 1962 at St. Clare of Montefalco and immediately began their family of five children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Clare of Montefalco Church (1401 Whittier Rd, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
It may not be a coincidence that the advance of Alzheimer's and loss of Sharron's ability to write her voluminous notes and birthday cards coincided with the financial struggles of the postal service.
