She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer K. Dodge and Emma J. Dodge (Morato); and her brother Richard Dodge. She is survived by: her husband Billy J. Abel; her children, Teresa Hagood (Matthew) of Milan, Lesli Bicknell (Scott) of Colorado and Michelle Riggs (Brian) of Ann Arbor; her grandchildren, Mollie McGuire (Joshua), Emma Bell (Brandon), Hannah Pummell (Adam), Garret Bicknell (Megan), Gavin Bicknell and Marz Riggs; her great grandchildren, Colton, Hunter Bell and Harper McGuire; and her aunt Alice.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating in Sharon's memory to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Humane Society of Huron Valley, and envelopes for both will be available at the funeral home.
