She was loved and cherished by many people including: her boyfriend John Stewart; her children, Miriam Shabazz (Emir Morais) and Hakima Hawkins (Kevin); her grandchildren, Octavia Morais, Shantee Perdue and Jazmin Hawkins; her brother Joel Gordon; her sister-in-law Kathleen Gordon; her niece Kate Barthel (Thoralf); her nephews, Peter Gordon (Mia) and Jeffrey Gordon; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Fritz, Matilda and RubyLu. She was also cherished by other loving family members and friends.
