She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Capers P. Harper and Julia B. Harper (McBride); her grandson Evan; her children, Blakeney Vasquez (Emilio) and Dr. Evan Lowe; her grandchildren, Aden, Zoe and Adrian Vasquez; and her brother Capers P. "Mike" Harper, Jr. (Sharon). She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was able to spend time enjoying her grandchildren, Aden, Zoe, and Adrian, in Washington DC during the pandemic.
