He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hyman Lindenauer and Sophie Lindenauer; his brother Arthur Lindenauer; his wife Marilyn; his children, Dara (David Fuller), Debby (Peter Weinberg), David (Tena) and Sue (Tom Mooney); his granddaughters, Katie and Hannah Fuller; his children, Ben, Caroline Weinberg, Charlie, Henry Weinberg, Samantha, Charles Lhermitte, Sarah Lindenauer, Logan, Ryan, Claire Mooney and James Weinberg; and his caregiver Lindsey Russell.
