He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Frances; and his son Gregory Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sister Mary Sands (Richard); and his sons, David Michael (Jessica), Mark Henry (Beth), Michael William Dergis (Kathleen) and Eric Robert Dergis (Jennifer). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Mark had asked that there be no flowers at the service.
