She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Cordell and Goldie Cordell (Dillbeck); her husband James Adams; her son Dwight Adams; and her siblings, Jewell Petitt and Joe Cordell.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Adams (Beverly) of St. Louis, MI, Ronald Adams (Melinda) of Aurora, CO and Marvin Adams (Lynn) of Saline, MI; her grandchildren, Jeremy Adams (Jessica Caesar), Nathan Adams (Ashlee), Laura Kimbell (Kyle), Eric Adams, Melissa Mercik (Mike), Marcia Adams (Chadd Teets), Michelle Adams (Steve Sankey) and Megan Adams (Josh Husted); her great grandchildren, Jacob Adams, Caitlin Adams, Sara Adams, Abby Adams, Chloe Adams, Noah Adams, Parker Mercik, Izzy Mercik, Jackson Billingsley and Peyton Billingsley; and her brother Jerry Cordell (Carolyn) of Tustin, CA.
