He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Fannie Tekushan Filkins; his children, Ellen Davis (Karl), Stanley Filkins, Valerie Morsfield (Mark) and Susan Filkins (James Beck); his parents, Stanley Filkins and Axie Filkins; his grandchildren, Katherine Meyer (Zachary), Mark Morsfield (Rachma), Lauren Tinaglia (Michael), Julie Behm (Tallak), Michael Davis (Hannah Slabaugh) and Gregory Morsfield; his nephews, Craig Velte, Mark Tekushan and Terry Tekushan; and his great grandchildren, Lucy, Norah Meyer, Cecilia and Rosalie Behm.
