She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Kempfert and Madeline Kempfert (Schmid); her husband Albert (Al); her sister Lois Soper; and her niece Vicki Soper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Phillips (Joe Filipiak) and Terri Thompson (Ken); her grandson Michael Phillips (Ted Scott); her stepgrandsons, Ben Thompson (Cassie) and Drew Thompson (Stephanie); and her brothers, Vernon Kempfert and Walter Kempfert. She is also survived by five step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
