He is survived by: his parents, John Christian and Elizabeth Ann Hansen (Hornyak) of Chelsea; his wife Rebekah Bissell Hansen of Ann Arbor; his daughter Anya Hansen of Ann Arbor; his brother Keith Hansen (Jennifer) of Jackson; his uncle Mike Hornyak of Ypsilanti; and his nephews, Ray Davis and Kyle Hansen of Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the college fund for Anya.
