He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarvey Bentley and Alice Bentley; his daughter Sandra D. Bentley; his sisters, Edith, Edna and Ann; his half-brother Clancy; and his brother Jarvey Junior.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee; his children, Sue Bentley and Danny Bentley; and his cousin Janetta Amy. He is also survived by 5 grandsons; 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Carpenter Road Chapel (2400 Carpenter Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48108). A burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery.
