We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2024, at the age of 61, Joseph Leo Whiteford of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whiteford and Marilyn Whiteford. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Whiteford (Abby) and Julie Vanhouten; his nieces, Abby Holmes (Brett) and Nikki Mulder (Kevin); his great-niece Margaret; his great-nephews, Davis, Hudson and Simon; and his friend Dick Townsend. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Joey's name to the Down Syndrome Support Team (https://downsyndromesupportteam.com) who provide meaningful support to families in southeastern Michigan.
