He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis McGuire and Vivian E. McGuire (Hubbard). He is survived by: his children, John McGuire Jr. (Shaun) of Britton and Dawn Khan (Shahzad) of Saline; and his grandchildren, Michael McGuire of Rochester Hills, Brendan McGuire of Britton and Sara Khan of Saline.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Huron Valley or St. Paul United Church of Christ, Saline.
