It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Swisher of Ann Arbor, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet Swisher (Dean) and John E. Swisher, Jr.; his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Jane Ayres (Beth); and his brother Samuel D. Swisher. He is survived by: his children, Robin Gaulrapp (Matt) and John E. Swisher IV; the father of his children Johnny; his children, Natalie and Jackie; his close friend Marie Shaffer; his sister Sallie Butts (Rick); and his close friend Bandit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
