John Edward Holden Obituary
We bid farewell to John Edward Holden of Ann Arbor, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 4, 2024 at the age of 79. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Holden and Eleanor "Betty" Holden (Snyder); and his former wife Shari Holden. He is survived by: his family, Shari, Kelly and Scott; his wife Karen Holden; his children, Scott Holden and Kelly Holden; his stepdaughters, Catherine Buswell (Colby) and Jennifer Carty (Simon Fletcher); his siblings, Skip Holden (Kathy), Merry Lowis (Lee), Carol Mandell (Sylvan), Dorothy Holden Steben and Pam; and his grandchildren, Caressa Cordova, Atlas Fletcher and Aurora Buswell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Huron River Methodist Church (7643 Huron River Dr, Dexter, MI 48130).
