He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hillegonds and Helen Hillegonds (Roe); his sister Jean Hillegonds; and his sister-in-law Judy Hillegonds. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hillegonds; his children, Mark Hillegonds and Carol Masterson (Jim); his grandchildren, Sean Miller, Colleen Hoover (Matt), Julia Buck (Gaz), Sara Offerman (Jake), Elizabeth Masterson and Luke Masterson; and his brother Terry Hillegonds.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (4205 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48108). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
