Though Johanna may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Kroese and Albertha Kroese; and her husband Kenneth C. Ludema. She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Fariba), James (Beverlee), Rodney (Evonne), Karen (Stephen) and Janet (Dan). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ann Arbor Christian Reformed Church (1717 Broadway St, Ann Arbor, MI 48105). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the African Scholarship in Engineering at Calvin University.
