In the sacred silence of farewell, Joel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joel's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his brother Norman Berger (late Ruth); and his parents, Frances Berger and Lewis Berger. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Berger; his children, Melissa Berger Brennan (William), Jonathan Berger (Jo-Lynne Cannon) and Stephen Berger (Christina Lirones); his granddaughter Aurelia Berger Lirones; his niece Debbie Berger Abel; and his nephew Scott Hunter Berger.
