It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Gibson (Ann Arbor, Michigan), who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Schoenhals and Rhoda Schoenhals; her husband James Gibson; and her daughter-in-law Lori Gibson (Oeffner). She is survived by: her children, Jenni O'Sullivan (Patrick), Joel Gibson and Jonathan Gibson (Mita); her grandchildren, Joshua Gibson, James Gibson (Sarah), Nina Gibson, Luke Knowles and Nora Gibson; her sister Kay Pierson-Jordan; her nephew David Gilbertson (Anne Cutsinger); and her niece Laura Pierson. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fellowship Bible Church.
