We bid farewell to Jimmie E. Burton Jr. of Ann Arbor, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 2, 2025 at the age of 82. Jimmie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Burton and Anna Burton (George); his wife Carolyn Burton (Hogue); his son Wayne Burton; and his granddaughter Cassandra Polehna.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nina Robertson (Robert) and Tina Polehna (Chris); and his grandchildren, Jason Burton, Christine Baker (Sean), Codie Robertson, Wayne Burton, Mackenzie Burton and Anthony Burton. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stark Funeral Home (101 S Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
