She was predeceased by: her daughter Megan Nemecek. She is survived by: her parents, Peter Scheffer Ely and Suzanne Nevins (Gray); her husband Chuck Nemecek; her children, Gab Nemecek and Alex Nemecek; and her sister Heather Hutchinson (Peter).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to ALK Positive, a foundation dedicated to supporting those affected by ALK+ lung cancer, to the Maj.
