He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Huff and Emma Huff; his parents-in-law, Herman and Ruth Hoeberling; and his sister-in-law Monika Hoeberling.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth (Hoeberling); his children, Steven Huff (Beth), Laura Huff and Jennifer Silva (Rich); his grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlin, Luke and Joshua; his brother Armin (Barbara); and his brother-in-law Robert Hoeberling. He is also survived by nieces and cousins.
