He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Frank William and Bette Lou Duvall Comstock; and his sisters-in-law, Wendy Gosling Comstock and Kathy Appel Comstock. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Etheredge (Quan); his siblings, Jeff Comstock (Susan), Mark Comstock, Timothy Comstock (Sandi), Christine Langer (William), Clare Comstock, Connie Comstock, Julia Wallace (Tony), Genevieve O'Bryan and Maggie Comstock; and his nieces and nephews, Wayne Comstock (Francene), Jeffrey Comstock, Meredith Sandoval (Chad), Lisa Talbot (Sean), Tori McQuiston (Ken) and Shelby Yaranga (Alexeo). He is also survived by 15 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Highpointers Club, Memory Lane Loving Dementia Care in Ypsilanti, MI, The Alzheimer's Association or the University of Michigan Geriatric Center.
