He is survived by: his wife Ruth Marie Thompson of Highland Mills, NY; his children, David Thompson, MD of Grand Rapids, MI, Nancy Roberts (Mark) of Dexter, MI and Susan Johnson (Peter) of Whitmore Lake, MI; his niece Melanie Wagner (Mark) of Manassas, VA; his nephews, Walter Stanfield, Jr. of Highland Mills, NY and Stephen Stanfield of Highland Mills, NY; his grandchildren, Daniel Roberts (Alison), Amy Rowe (Tanner), Margaret Sarah Thompson and Stephanie Scheets (Jonathan); and his great grandchildren, Maverick, Calvin and Beckett Rowe.
