He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smith and Norma Smith (Graves); his wife Suzanne Marie Galpin; and his brother Charles "Chuck". He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Wooters (Alan) and Ronald Smith (Jean); and his grandchildren, Michael Bricault, Stephen Bricault (Mindy), William Smith (Megann), Christopher Bricault and Sara LeBlanc (John). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Arbor Hospice, who provided great kindness and care to Gar in his last moments.
