He is survived by: his wife Nola Thomas of Ann Arbor; his son Chaad (Susan McLeary); his grandchildren, Leda of Ann Arbor and Maceo of Ann Arbor; his children, Amahl, Ezarilah, Rahman of Ann Arbor, Kamala Thomas of Los Angeles and Sita Wallace of Chattanooga; and his grandchildren, Cheldon and Zaevia Hensley of Puerto Rico.
