We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 71, Emmett Paul Bowen Jr. of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Bowen, Sr. and Portia Bowen; and his brother Willard. He is survived by: his wife Carol Postema Bowen; his children, Lakisha A. Boggio-Bowen (Michael) and Max S. Bowen; his grandson Eli Boggio; and his siblings, Patricia Bowen, Yvonne Lockard and Max. He is also survived by siblings, his father and mother in law, and his adored nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the The First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor (4001 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103).
