He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Downing and Thelma Downing (Gleason). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his sons, Brian (Meher), Eric (Christine) and Stuart (Karen); his grandchildren, Ryan, Neil, Cooper and Trenton; and his siblings, Lynne Kent (Pearl) and Jeff Pearl (Paula).
